The Creig Northrop Team donates to USO of Metropolitan Washington

The Creig Northrop Team of Long & Foster looks forward to a great season for Terp’s Men’s Basketball with new head Coach Mark Turgeon at the helm. Like many fans, we are sad to say goodbye to Gary Williams. He brings an extraordinary passion and fierce competitiveness to everything that he does.

The Creig Northrop Team was very involved with the Terp’s basketball team this past season – as we donated $14,100 to the USO of Metropolitan Washington through the University of Maryland’s Hoops for Heroes program.

Hoops for Heroes!

The Creig Northrop Team of Long & Foster Real Estate is proud to announce our partnership with the University of Maryland Men’s Basketball “Hoops for Heroes” program to benefit the USO.

The mission of the USO is to support the efforts of our servicemen and servicewomen defending our country both at home and abroad. “The Hoops for Heroes program benefitting the USO is a great way for our team to enhance our wonderful Baltimore and Washington, D.C. communities, and support the excellent work of the USO organization, which does so much for our brave men and women in uniform and their families,” said Creig Northrop.

For every three pointer scored by the Terps men’s basketball team during the 2010-2011 regular season, The Creig Northrop Team of Long & Foster Real Estate will donate to the USO of Metropolitan Washington. In 2009-2010, the team scored a total of 2,393 points in 30 games.
